Running out of lives too early?
You can get some super easy lives in level 1-2, the dungeon level, just go along this level until you find the power up star, grab that and run as fast as you can to the right, killing all the mobs you run past. This should get you 3 or 4 extra lives every time. You will then just need to quickly run to the finish flag to keep all of the lives, you can repeat this process as many times as you need.
